SANKOFA- Hearts of History

The Sankofa collection is a collection of pieces inspired by the Adinkra symbol of the same name. The symbol, which is often depicted as a bird with its head turned backwards and a loop in its beak, represents the idea of looking back and learning from the past in order to move forward with purpose. 

The pieces in this collection are crafted from 18k gold plated over brass and pewter. Our designs are modern and elegant, incorporating traditional African motifs and patterns into contemporary jewelry styles.
