Ordering & Shipping
When should I order for Christmas?
For U.S. delivery by December 24, order by Monday, December 14 with standard shipping or Thursday, December 17 with express. These dates include engraved pieces. After that, an e-gift card arrives by email in minutes.
When will my order ship?
Every order is prepared with care in 2–3 business days (weekends and holidays aren't included). Once it ships, standard delivery takes 3–5 business days and express takes 1–2 business days.
Is shipping free?
Yes. U.S. shipping is complimentary on every order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. International orders typically arrive within 2–4 business days after processing by DHL Express or another carrier, depending on destination and customs. Customs duties, taxes, and fees are the customer's responsibility.
How do I track my order?
When your order ships, you'll receive an email with your tracking number.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Email us right away at adinkracharms@cynirje.com. We can only make changes or cancel before an order enters fulfillment.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in their original packaging with proof of purchase. Email us first to start a return; returns sent without contacting us can't be accepted.
What can't be returned?
Personalized or custom orders, sale items, and gift cards.
How do exchanges work?
Return your original piece through the standard return process. Once it's received and approved, place a new order for the piece you'd like.
When will I get my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll let you know it's approved. Refunds go to your original payment method, minus the cost of return shipping. Your bank may take a few business days to post the credit.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect. What do I do?

Materials & Care
What is my jewelry made of?
Most pieces are PVD gold or silver over stainless steel. Some pair a gold-filled chain, gold-plated steel, sterling silver, or natural gemstones. The exact materials for each piece are listed in its product details.
Will it tarnish?
Our pieces are made to resist tarnish and fading with everyday wear. Keeping them away from chlorine, salt water, and harsh chemicals keeps the finish brightest.
Can I wear it in the shower?
Our PVD and stainless steel pieces are made for everyday wear, including showers and workouts. Please remove all pieces before pools, hot tubs, and the ocean, and keep gemstone bracelets dry.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Our stainless steel pieces are hypoallergenic, and many customers with sensitive skin wear them every day. If you have a specific metal allergy, email us and we'll tell you exactly what a piece is made of.
The Symbols
What are Adinkra symbols?
Adinkra are visual symbols created by the Akan people of Ghana. Each one carries a name and a meaning, often tied to a proverb or a value, and they have long been stamped onto cloth and carved into everyday objects. Today they live across Ghana and the African diaspora.

What are the Codes of Legacy?
The Codes of Legacy are ten Adinkra symbols that map the arc of a human life, from Sunsum (spirit) to Nyame Dua (protection). It is the framework behind everything we make, developed by our founder, Nakia Duncan.
Do you offer symbols beyond the ten?
Some pieces, like the CZ Mini Tag and CZ Circle Pendant, come in additional symbols. Check each product's options, or email us about a symbol you're looking for.
Gifting
Does my order come ready to give?
Yes. Every order arrives inside our black mailer, wrapped in tissue. Your piece rests in a suede pouch within our signature black box, tied with a ribbon. Tucked in with it: a polishing cloth, the story of Adinkra Charms with the meanings of the symbols, and, with single-symbol pieces, a card for your symbol.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. E-gift cards are delivered by email.
