Description
Symbolism
The Bese Saka symbol represents abundance and prosperity in the beliefs of the Ashanti people. "Bese Saka" translates to "sack of cola nuts" in the Akan language. This symbol signifies wealth and affluence, often associated with the rich trade in cola nuts, an important cash crop. It embodies the idea of plenitude and fertility and serves as a reminder of the importance of trade and agriculture in bringing prosperity and sustenance to the community.
